Melissa O’Mara

Leadership Coefficient Partner

Melissa is an organisational development consultant and coach – focused on transformative (human) systems change and collective leadership. She works closely with the growing population of conscious leaders who are proactively transforming business into a force for good.

She has been working/learning with Leadership Coefficient since 2011 and founded The Leaders Co-Lab in 2014 to grow collective leadership and corporate capacity for the “soft side” of transformative systems change in North America.

Melissa’s executive line of business and coaching experience has taught her that meaningful change requires both inner and outer work, at both an individual and systems level.

As a natural innovator with a systems mindset and future focus, she specializes in systems change leadership – designing and delivering collective and team leadership programs. She also works 1:1 and with corporate leaders acting as coach, catalyst, consultant, guide and co-activator for leaders who are committed to developing themselves and their teams to play a “bigger game” – to lead better together, with compassion, courage, competence and inner coherence.

Before founding The Leaders Co-Lab in 2014, Melissa held innovation leadership, and intreprenurial roles at Schneider Electric, IBM, and Andersen Consulting. Her 28 years of corporate experience include various roles in information systems consulting, project management, change management, consultative solution sales, solutions sales management, professional coaching, and leadership development.

Never “one size fits all”, she works with customers to enhance individual and organizational wellness, personal and systems awareness, and inner and outer agility. The results are more resilient, agile, collaborative teams and leaders who are focused and motivated to deliver innovation and change that matters and that is sustainable.
Our true work is to create “what’s next” –  together.  We believe that human beings are naturally wired to create “what’s next” – give everyone a voice.
